Transformer Test Lab

Certified by ISO, the test lab performs the final routine test on each and every transformer that leaves BTT factory for delivery to our customers. The test lab can test all kinds of distribution and medium power transformers up to 33kV and offers the following tests: • Winding resistance • Voltage ratio or phase displacement • Measurement of impedance and load loss • Measurement of no-load and current • Tests on on-load tap changers All tests are as per IEC67006 and the latest edition of SANS 780.
